Caroline DeLuca is a published writer, editor, and educator. Caroline works as a freelance editor, having reworked and polished manuscripts, anthologies, articles, and documents on international policy for Beaufort Books, Midpoint Trade Books, GSSHealth, Warrior Writers, and independent authors. Caroline teaches creative writing at Stony Brook University and through YAWP, and she has developed and facilitated creative writing workshops of middle school and high school students, as well as adults, for a wide variety of organizations and educational institutions. She has tutored students of all ages in English, history, literacy, and college application preparation for the past eight years. She served as a regional juror for the Scholastic Arts & Writing Awards. Caroline is an MFA candidate in the Creative Writing and Literature program at Stony Brook Southampton. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at the Johns Hopkins Writing Seminars program. Her writing has appeared in literary magazines, in high school English curricula, and in scientific publications. She spends her spare time pursuing social justice activism, dancing to Prince, and reading about witches.
