Caroline DeLuca is a published writer, editor, and educator. Caroline works as an adult educator and a freelance editor, having reworked and polished manuscripts, anthologies, articles, and documents on international policy for Beaufort Books, Midpoint Trade Books, GSSHealth, Warrior Writers, and independent authors. Caroline currently teaches adult education in homeless shelters, and has developed and facilitated creative writing workshops for students from 8 to 94 years old, through a wide variety of organizations and educational institutions. They have tutored students in English, history, literacy, and college application preparation for the past eight years. They served as a regional juror for the Scholastic Arts & Writing Awards. Caroline matriculated their MFA in Creative Writing and Literature at Stony Brook Southampton, and their BA from Johns Hopkins. Their writing has appeared in literary magazines, in high school English curricula, and in scientific publications. They spend their spare time organizing for prison abolition, dancing to Prince, and reading about witches.
