Caroline DeLuca is a published writer, editor, and educator. Caroline works as an adult educator and a freelance editor having reworked and polished manuscripts, anthologies, articles, and documents on international policy for Beaufort Books, Midpoint Trade Books, GSSHealth, Warrior Writers, and independent authors. Caroline teaches creative writing at Stony Brook University and through YAWP, and she has developed and facilitated creative writing workshops of middle school and high school students, as well as adults, for a wide variety of organizations and educational institutions. She has tutored students of all ages in English, history, literacy, and college application preparation for the past eight years. She served as a regional juror for the Scholastic Arts & Writing Awards. Caroline matriculated her MFA in Creative Writing and Literature at Stony Brook Southampton, and her BA from Johns Hopkins. Her writing has appeared in literary magazines, in high school English curricula, and in scientific publications. She spends her spare time organizing for prison abolition, dancing to Prince, and reading about witches.
